Dear Community,
Sunday 10am Community Practice & Discussion
From Jean: Last week Jane invited us to bring poems that have inspired us on the path of the dharma. Her invitation inspired me to reflect on how different forms of artistic expression have influenced my experience of lovingkindness.
As luck would have it, and on the recommendation of a friend, I had already decided to investigate the teachings of Ajahn Sona, the Abbot of Birken Forest Monastery in British Columbia. The first talk that appeared was called Love Is But A Song We Sing that highlights the importance of imagination and creativity in lovingkindness practice. Bingo! Here’s a link if you’d like to listen.
Please join us tomorrow and share what helps you connect with the felt sense of lovingkindness. All are welcome! Registration and Zoom information available here.
With metta (loving-kindness),
